REMOVES DEBRIS, CLEANS & DISINFECTS ROTARY INSTRUMENTS
YOU CAN CLEAN WITHOUT DISINFECTING, BUT YOU CANNOT DISINFECT WITHOUT CLEANING.
BUR CLEANER DISINFECTANT containing Quadex® (V6) is a HIGH-LEVEL DISINFECTANT, ready-to-use solution that removes debris while cleaning and disinfecting rotary instruments (tungsten carbide, stainless steel, diamond grit, steel). Used in dental surgeries, laboratories, clinics, and veterinary surgeries.
NOTE: Disinfected rotary instruments in bur holder must be rinsed in distilled water prior to sterilisation in Quadex® Cold Sterilant™
WARNING: Used burs must be considered microbially contaminated and appropriate handling precautions should be taken during reprocessing. Gloves, eye protection and a mask should be worn if there are specific infection or cross-contamination risks from a patient.

Application
DIRECTIONS FOR USE:
CLEANING AND STERILISATION INSTRUCTIONS: These instructions are applicable to tungsten carbide, diamond and steel dental rotary instruments (burs). Always clean, disinfect and then sterilise before first use and then after each reuse. Discard rinse free solution daily.
ULTRASOUND CLEANING: Place the burs in a bur holder inside the ultrasound bath for a minimum 5 minute cycle.
INSPECTION: After cleaning, inspect each bur with the aid of magnification, if necessary, to ensure that all contamination has been removed. Repeat the cleaning process if necessary. Discard any damaged or previously corroded instruments. Delay in reprocessing must be avoided and kept to a minimum to avoid contaminants drying, thereby making cleaning more difficult. Prolonged storage in disinfectant solution must always be avoided.
STERILISING: After cleaning and disinfecting immerse burs and bur holder in Quadex® Cold Sterilant™ for 30 minutes.
